Maths: Continued exploration of ways to count more efficiently; counting by 2s, 5s and 10s. The Preps will be introduced to the concept of sharing an amount into equal quantities.
Literacy: Writing about a celebration that they have been to. 'At my party there was....' They will be writing about the experience of swimming, brainstorming different words to describe swimming and exploring different word families (e.g. swim, swimming, swam / splash, splashed, splashing)
Inquiry: What emotions do we feel at swimming?
