Literacy: The preps will have clear direction towards their writing goals. The preps have been introduced to the genre of invitation writing and have created their own invitations. They will continue to learn strategies for reading through guided reading sessions with clear learning intentions.
Inquiry: How do cultures around the world celebrate? Responding to photos of celebrations by writing and discussing what they saw in the image. List the wonderings about the image.
