Writing: Learning Agreement reflection. Invitation writing - conferencing with the teacher, edit and write final copy. Modelled writing of instructional text (party games). Shared writing of a big books of 'Games we play at school.'   Maths: Focus on counting forwards and backwards from any number. Halloween addition stories. Creating new neighbourhood games with a maths focus.   Reading: Shared reading of instructional text; sequencing how to play the game by illustrating and writing. Independent and paired reading. Guided reading.    Wellbeing: Playing inclusive games during lunch and recess time. Discussion of language used when playing games. Problem solving; what to do if someone if someone doesn't want to play the game that you want to play. Understanding how to compromise when playing with your friends.   Inquiry: Explaining games that we play in the yard by sequencing photo graphs of the different steps involved.
